Branding + Visual Identity
When Jen Scott, steward of two hot spring resorts in northern New Mexico — Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa and Sunrise Springs Spa Resort — couldn’t find products that honored the natural beauty & resilience of the surrounding environment, she looked to the land she stood on to create her own locally-sourced, nutrient-rich line of natural skincare products.
Jen approached LEMON with a beautiful line of inspired skincare, a logo and product label but needed a few things to get off of the ground: a clarified brand identity, updated product packaging, spa training materials, an e-commerce website, communication plan, and a slew of other tools to help launch her vision into reality.
Round Barn Apothecary is deeply influenced by the mountains, deserts, sky, water and art of New Mexico; the products are cast in the same shades of pink, sage, and charcoal as the ingredients inside: wild-harvested prickly pear, white sage, bilberry and willow bark.
It didn't take long to recognize that Round Barn's new packaging should highlight the beautiful colors and textures of the ingredients inside.
Our first task was removing the product's previously white labeling and design transparent labels that really let the products and high-quality ingredients speak for themselves.
A clean, minimal e-commerce site with an emphasis on easy navigation, simple shopping & beautiful imagery.
